How We Verify, Distribute, and Report
Every dollar follows a documented process from donation to delivery. Here is exactly how we ensure your gift reaches the people who need it most.
Vetting Recipients
Before any aid is distributed, we verify that it reaches eligible recipients through a rigorous screening process.
Needs Assessment
Field teams conduct on-the-ground assessments to identify the most vulnerable families and individuals. We prioritize based on urgency, access to resources, and long-term needs.
Identity & Eligibility Verification
Recipients are verified through local documentation, community leaders, and partner organizations. For Zakat distribution, we confirm eligibility under the eight Shariah-defined categories.
OFAC Sanctions Screening
All recipients, partners, and vendors are screened against the U.S. Treasury OFAC sanctions list before any funds or aid are disbursed. This is a zero-tolerance compliance requirement.
Partner Due Diligence
Local distribution partners undergo background checks, financial reviews, and capacity assessments before we engage. Partnerships are reviewed annually.
Distribution Process
We use multiple distribution channels to ensure aid reaches recipients quickly, safely, and with dignity.
Field Teams
Dedicated local teams in each country manage distribution directly. They know the communities, speak the language, and understand the cultural context.
Local Partners
Where we do not have direct presence, we work with vetted local organizations who meet our compliance and reporting standards.
Direct Delivery
Food packages, medical supplies, clean water, and shelter materials are delivered directly to families. No intermediaries, no markups.
Cash & Voucher Assistance
In contexts where markets are functional, we provide cash or voucher transfers so families can purchase what they need most, preserving dignity and choice.
Reporting & Accountability
Every distribution is documented, reported, and shared with donors. Transparency is not optional — it is how we operate.
Real-Time Tracking
Field teams report distributions as they happen. Donors can see campaign progress in real time through our platform.
Impact Reports
Quarterly impact reports detail what was delivered, to whom, and with what measurable outcome. Published publicly on our transparency hub.
Donor Communications
Monthly donors receive updates on how their recurring gifts are being used. Campaign donors receive completion reports with photos and data.
Zakat Compliance
Zakat is a sacred obligation. We handle it with the rigor and reverence it deserves.
Shariah-Defined Categories
Zakat funds are distributed exclusively to recipients who qualify under the eight categories defined in the Quran (Surah At-Tawbah 9:60): the poor, the needy, Zakat administrators, those whose hearts are to be reconciled, freeing captives, debtors, in the cause of Allah, and the stranded traveler.
Segregated Accounting
Zakat funds are held in a separate account and are never co-mingled with general donations, operational funds, or Sadaqah. Every Zakat dollar is tracked from receipt to distribution.
Scholarly Oversight
Our Zakat distribution methodology is reviewed by qualified Islamic scholars to ensure compliance with established jurisprudence. We consult multiple schools of thought to serve our diverse donor base.
Timely Distribution
We prioritize rapid distribution of Zakat funds to ensure they reach eligible recipients without unnecessary delay. Zakat is not held for future use — it is distributed as received.
Every Dollar. Verified. Delivered. Reported.
