Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website at ummafoundation.org (the “Site”) or any services provided by Umma Foundation Inc. (“UMMA Foundation,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, other accounts, or computer systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site.
- Use any automated system, including bots or scrapers, to access the Site without our express written permission.
- Impersonate or attempt to impersonate UMMA Foundation, an employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
Donations
All donations made through the Site are voluntary charitable contributions to Umma Foundation Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 86-3883211).
- Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us within 30 days at hello@ummafoundation.org.
- We make every effort to direct your donation to the program or campaign you designate. If a campaign is fully funded or circumstances change, we reserve the right to redirect funds to similar programs in alignment with our mission.
- Tax receipts are issued for all donations. You are responsible for determining the tax deductibility of your contribution based on your personal tax situation.
- Recurring donations may be cancelled at any time through your donor portal or by contacting us directly.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including but not limited to all text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software — are owned by Umma Foundation Inc. or its licensors and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from the Site without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.
User Content
If you submit content to the Site (including comments, testimonials, or feedback), you grant UMMA Foundation a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such content in connection with our mission and services.
You represent that any content you submit is your own or that you have the necessary rights to grant us the above license, and that such content does not violate any third-party rights.
Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected. We are not responsible for any errors or omissions in content on the Site.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Umma Foundation Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you donated to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by UMMA Foundation. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in New York, New York.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The revised version is effective when posted. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
